Tickets for the UCL Infection, Immunology and Inflammation Symposium have now sold out.

However, please add your details to the waiting list and if a ticket becomes available you will be contacted automatically with further instructions on how to book your ticket.

If you are not contacted before the event about newly available tickets, it may still be worth coming to the venue on the day, as you may be able to gain entrance to the event if there are people who do not show up. Whilst it is likely that there will be 'no shows', there is obvioulsy no way of us knowing for sure, so we are not able guarantee you admittance on the day.

This year we have an excellent line-up of eminent speakers from across UCL who will be presenting their ground-breaking work and answering your questions.

There will also be an interactive debate session, as well as talks by Professor Sir John Tooke (UCL Vice-Provost (Health)) and Professor Michael Arthur (UCL President and Provost).

We are also holding an abstract competition for early career researchers in both the basic and clinical sciences.

The deadline for submitting abstracts has now passed. The abstracts will now be scored by the UCL III Committee. The top-scoring six applicants will present their research to the 250-strong Symposium audience.

The other top scoring applicants have created a poster of their abstract to display during the Symposium. The Poster Competition and Presentation winners will be announced and rewarded at the end of the Symposium, before the networking drinks reception.

This event is being organised in association with UCLPartners and The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), Infection, Immunology and Inflammation (III) Programme.

Abstract Competition Guidelines:

• The deadline for submitting abstracts has now past.
  
• Any abstracts or changes to abstracts that are received after midnight on Thursday 9 October will not be accepted.
  
• Posters should be printed in portrait and should not exceed A1 size (59.4cm x 84.1cm).
  
• If your poster is selected for the exhibition, you will be notified by Friday 17 October with further instructions for printing and submitting your poster.
  
• If you are one of the top scoring 6, you will also be notified by Friday 17 October and asked to prepare a presentation for the Symposium about your abstract subject matter. Your presentation must include slides.
  
  

Instructions for logging back into Eventbrite:
1. Go to http://www.eventbrite.com/ (please note, do not try to log into Eventbrite using the symposium registration link)

2. Click on the log in button (if you have an account you will need to enter your password, if not you will need to ask Eventbrite to email you a new password).

3. When you get into your account, click on My Tickets, find the symposium ticket and then click on Manage Order. You will then be able to update your poster details.
